This book delivered tons of laughs and all the feels! Out of all the books in the Vancouver Agitators series, this one delves into the most sensitive topics. Halsey, still reeling from the loss of his twin brother, has withdrawn into himself. Despite his internal struggles, he finds himself immediately drawn to Agitator’s staffer Blakely, only to be disappointed when he learns she's in a relationship. When Blakely's relationship falls apart and she needs a place to stay, Halsey's teammates scheme and eventually convince her to move into his guest room. As Halsey and Blakely's relationship gradually develops — through a series of hilarious awkward encounters — Blakely begins to see beyond his quiet exterior, discovering the depth of his character and the warmth of his heart. This beautiful story manages to balance themes of grief with a deeply romantic (and delightfully spicy) friends to lovers journey. As a bonus, the camaraderie and support of Halsey's hockey teammates add a heartwarming touch, and some of the funniest group text exchanges we’ve ever read.

Content Warning: Loss of a sibling, alcoholism, thoughts of suicide, depression.
