Patron Saint of Sugar and Spice Romance

There’s just something about Maren Moore — the delicious combo platter of her Elle Woods pink aesthetic, contagious sense of humor, and sweet, spicy, emotionally driven writing style that keeps us ravenous for more. She signed onto the Patron Saints of Romance project in true Maren fashion, with an email that included a generous sprinkling of capital letters, hearts, and the phrase “totes” that you could almost hear in her signature drawl. Make no mistake though, under the glitter and glam is a bona fide hustler. She’s published 17 books and just signed a three-book deal for a rugby romance series, with the first book, Red Card, releasing Fall of 2025. In case you’re wondering how rugby came into the mix, Maren sums it up perfectly with a simple “thick thighs are my thing.” You won’t catch us arguing with that airtight logic.
